The flagship of the Company, Soolip Paperie & Press is a paper boutique
featuring the best in unusual and decorative papers imported from around
the world. From the highly decorative patterns of Japanese Yuzen
Silkscreens to the natural fiber-inclusions of Thai Unryus to the
unusual crinkled surfaces of Parisian Froisse and Cloque, one will be
delighted with the range of both handmade and machinemade papers
available at Soolip Paperie & Press. Ranging in prices from $3 to $35
per sheet, these papers are used for so many purposes including gift
wrapping (see our online
gift wrap selection), card making, lamp shades, book and album
coverings, set design, collage, and so much more.
The photo album and journal
selection will satisfy those whose tastes range from the old-world, soft
leather albums and journals in classic black, tan and pearl to those
covered with sophisticated silk-screened Japanese Yuzen papers. A full
range of writing and desk accoutrements are available - a sophisticated
rainbow of colored sealing waxes, wax sealers and burners; Italian
hand-blown glass dipping pens modern, metal mini fountain pens, colored
and metallic inks in dipping and cartridge forms and novel round paper
clips in gold, silver and matte black.
The handmade card is sacrosanct
here. Soolip Paperie & Press features an extensive collection of
handmade greeting cards and fill-in invitations including Soolip's own
letterpressed designs (see our
Greeting Card Collection) along with other featured designers - Mira
Aster, Turquoise Creative, Good Egg, R. Nichols, Snow & Graham among
many others. In addition, breath-taking drawers full of pressed natural
flowers, ribbons, twines and various other novelties are available for
one's own card-making endeavors. And of course, a wide range of blank
card stock and envelopes, from deckled-edge romantic to clean-edge
modern, are available for both card-making and note writing.
A haven for the paper-lover and for those appreciating the subtleties of
presentation and design.
