In this day and age of our digital world, where we all are glued to our digital devices, nothing stands up to receiving a handwritten, hand-touched card or letter from another human being. The inherent value of the relationship that the sender places between the receiver is solidified. Receiving a handwritten card from someone conveys to the receiver the level of importance placed on the relationship, that one actually took the time to sit down, focus their thoughts on the recipient, sourced their mailing address, purchased a postage stamp, and drop the card in a mailing box.
