The Tale of An Easter Hunt

This animated story of a rabbit's hunt for the elusive Easter Eggs is brilliantly written in a lyrical poetic form by Simone Forsberg at age 16.

Commissioned by Katrina Markoff, founder of Vosges Haut Chocolat, to commemorate the opening of her Beverly Hills store (which is now closed) and to coincide with the Easter Holiday, The Tale of an Easter Hunt served as the point of inspiration for the Vosges Haut Chocolat, Spring 2012 catalog.

This limited edition of 50 books is hand-printed letterpress by Soolip in an intense blue-violet ink. Each book is folded into an accordion - style structure, tied with a decorative gold twine wrap, and finally, placed in a letterpress-printed envelope jacket. The author has individually signed and numbered each copy.

Simone is now 25 years old. Her mother, Wanda, is eagerly awaiting her daughter to pick up her pen again to write.
