We’re sorry we missed you for our Spring workshops. However we are setting our schedule for upcoming summer and fall months. If you are interested in The Art of Lettering - Copperplate Calligraphy, please email us at info@soolip.com with your name and workshop title. We will be in touch!

Everyone has an artist inside. The artist is our inner self, what we desire to communicate and express. Whatever your profession is - a corporate executive, a lawyer, a medical professional, in public service, an entrepreneur, a parent, making time to be creative on a regular basis is vital to our well-being. When we try something new outside of our daily work, or when we create something original, we cultivate our ability to think outside the box, keeping ourselves vibrant, open, optimistic, joyful.

I believe in living a creative life for the health and well-being of one's soul. May these classes, of Hand & Heart, spark your curiosity.

- Wanda Wen

Embark on a creative adventure where you will learn and cultivate the writing artistry of Copperplate Calligraphy led by Aspacia Kusulas.  Throughout this 6-class engaging experience, you will learn the story behind letterforms and their evolution, practice all fundamental strokes making up all lowercase and uppercase letters, learn how to fluidly connect letters, and be given the inspiration and confidence to step further into unleashing your innate creativity by adding personal flourishes to your lettering. This series is appropriate for all levels, both those who have been interested in taking calligraphy but have not found the right time or space in your life to dedicate to this art form, to those who are current lettering artists and are interested in refining your artistic skills or adding this classic, elegant calligraphy style to your tool chest. By meeting every other week for 10 weeks, this will encourage accountability and a consistent practice, allowing the teachings to integrate and assimilate.
